MEET THE TEAM
Paul is one of the founders of Mast and has been in the financial services industry for a slightly scary 34 years. He specialises in all aspects of commercial finance, along with complex self-employed mortgages and working with professional landlords.

Outside of work his primary interests are lamenting the enduring mediocrity of Bath Rugby, QPR and the England Test Team, together with supporting the European wine industry.

Since joining Mast in 2016 Archie has developed a great understanding of the market and specialises in First Time Buyers, Self-Employed, Landlords, and arranging Family & Business Insurance.

When not in work you will usually find Archie at a coffee shop, on the golf course (though he refutes that he is any good), or enjoying a pint of Guiness.

Steve is one of the co-founders of Mast and has over 30 year’s experience in the Financial Services industry. Steve’s attitude is to always find a solution to any problem and will go above and beyond in providing clients with the outcome they need. Steve specialises in all aspect Mortgage Finance, as well as Property Development finance and advising businesses on their insurance needs.
Away from work, Steve enjoys socializing, cooking a mean curry and has been known to disappear underground in the caves on the Mendips

Since 2006, Mike has enjoyed a pan European career, where he led the commercial activities for the organisation at senior executive & board level. Mike’s focus is all around commercial and business finance, with a particular passion for property and land development finance activities.Mike prides himself on finding a way, believing that as a team, any goal can be achieved.
Away from work, you can find Mike on a golf course, paddleboard or leading a mean BBQ, ideally on the coast, where if he ever goes missing you are sure to find him.

After studying Law at the University of Dundee, Lauren worked for a regional building society before joining us as a paraplanner at the start of 2021. Lauren’s role involves supporting the advisers in their research, liaising with both providers and clients, and helping to make sure we get the application right the first time.
Outside of work Lauren’s interests are knitting, sewing (anything crafty really). On the weekend you will probably find her out for brunch or cuddled up on the sofa, knitting.
